About Us
Ray's Tire & Automotive LLC. was founded by Ray Berstler and Ed Patriarch on October 1, 2006. The location at 1899 Delmar Drive in Folcroft, PA had been an abandoned building that had been closed down for 12 years in the middle of town. It had been an eyesore for the past 12 years, at one time being a gas station and then a minimart that was left in shambles. Ray and Ed worked on the location every day for 6 months until it opened March 1st. Ed Patriarch has owned and operated the towing business, Ed's Towing, and wanted to enter into a partnership with Ray Berstler. Their vision for the shop was simple, "The hope was that the community would welcome us" Ed said, and they have.
